There are a variety of different creams you can use to control your acne, but what do you do after you break out? There’s the natural desire to squeeze your zits to release the head. While I can say that I tend to do this, there are better ways that are less likely to scar your face. There are some pastes you can use right at home that may help out when you break out suddenly.
One recommendation is to use toothpaste. Just squeeze a little toothpaste into your finger and apply a small portion to the pimple. Be careful. You can burn your face if you put too much on. And make sure you’re only using a paste instead of a gel that doesn’t have any whitening ingredients in it because the hydrogen peroxide in this will make your skin burn. Also, be wary of this plan if you have sensitive skin. It can irritate your skin a lot.
Another recommendation is baking soda, mixed with water to make a thick paste. This has similar effects to tooth paste and should be used with care. There are also a variety of products you can by at the store that do the same sort of thing.
The reason that this works is that the paste dries up the pimple like a clay mask and eats away the oil. It’s an easy way to get rid of a pimple by morning. Just remember that whatever you do to help with untimely breakouts needs to be done carefully to avoid permanent damage.
